Remembrance Day is fast approaching, and at Chevrons Living we are committed to serving those who have served.
We’re asking for members of the Fordingbridge community to add a Remembrance Day poppy to our wreath, in exchange for a donation to the Royal British Legion.
We’d love to see you at Chevrons Living between now and the 11th of November, to make your donation and place your poppy on the wreath. Simply get in touch with our manager, Tony, on 01425 200 428 who will arrange a time for you to pop into see us on Green Lane.
Fordingbridge will mark Remembrance Day in 2023 with a service at Stuckton Road Cemetery at 10.50am on Saturday 11th November.
The Remembrance Sunday commemorations on Sunday 12th November will start with an act of remembrance at the Memorial Gates (the entrance to Riverside Park, Ringwood Road), at 10.10am, where wreaths will be laid.
This will be followed by a procession to the service at St Mary’s Church at 10.50am, which will include a two-minute silence at 11am.
The Royal British Legion provides lifelong support to serving and ex-serving personnel and their families. From expert advice and guidance, recovery, and rehabilitation, through to transitioning to civilian life – the support they offer to members of the Armed Forces extends to their families too.
If you’d like to help us continue our commitment to serving those who have served, but you’re unable to make it to Chevrons to place your poppy, you can donate directly to the Royal British Legion online.
Thank you for all your support.
